Engines

Bring the CLI you already pay for.

The binary is already on your machine and already signed in. Nothing is proxied and no credential passes through us.

Run Lucid Train on Claude CodeThe same binary you already run in a terminal, driven from a window that also has your diagrams, your dependency audit and your dashboards in it.
Run Lucid Train on the Codex CLIJSON-RPC to a local app-server, and the only engine besides Claude Code that can also drive the design canvas.
Run Lucid Train on the Cursor CLICursor's headless agent, with the diagram canvas and the approval gate wrapped around it.
Run Lucid Train on OpenCodeThe open-source option, and the only engine that talks HTTP rather than stdio.
Run Lucid Train on OpenRouterOne key, many models, and the only route here that lets you split Plan, Edit and Vision across different providers.
Run Lucid Train on a Claude or ChatGPT SubscriptionNeither route asks you for an API key. One of them is a supported integration and one of them is interop; the difference matters.

System Design Templates
Each template is a real diagram produced by the same layout engine the app runs, not a picture of one.
AI System Design
The diagram can cause the code, not just describe it.
Harness Engineering
Agent equals model plus harness. The harness is the half you can actually change.
Dependency and Agent Supply Chain Audit
Your packages are audited by everyone. The programs your agent launches are audited by almost no one.
Grafana and Observability in a Coding Agent
Nothing is exported to us. It reads the Grafana you already run, with your credential, on your machine.
AI Design Mode for Web Pages
Running on the Claude Code or Codex CLI you already have, with your repository open beside it.
Software Architecture Glossary
What each term means, where it came from, and where it stops being useful.
Guides to Choosing Architecture Tools
No winner is declared, because the right answer depends on constraints a web page cannot see.
Alternatives to Popular Diagramming and Agent Tools
Each page sorts the field by the reason you are leaving, because that is what decides the answer.
MCP and Architecture Diagrams
Your agent supplies the structure. A constraint solver decides where everything goes.
Generate a Diagram from Your Code
Every source below lists the exact files it reads and the constructs it maps to diagram nodes.
AI Diagram Generators
The agent emits a semantic graph and ELK computes the layout, so overlapping boxes are structurally impossible.
Compare Lucid Train
Every page says what the other tool is better at. If that section were empty the comparison would not be worth reading.
Convert Code and Diagrams
Every conversion page states what survives the round trip and what does not.
Use Cases
Each page includes who it is not for, which is usually the more useful half.
Beyond Diagrams
Diagrams are the front door. These are the rooms behind it.
